Michael Calas is a creative commercial and headshot photographer specializing in Actor Headshots and Commercial Photography.
Michael started his photography career shooting for many catalogs, throughout the US. He has also worked in Miami and Chicago as a professional make-up artist with some of the top names in the beauty industry such as Christian Dior, Shiseido, and Lancome. He eventually settled with Lancome as a regional make-up artist in the southern United States.
His photography work has taken him across the country working with celebrities, directors, film and commercial productions. During his 10 years in Los Angeles, he worked on many media industry jobs, and he was continually the ideal choice for new arrivals to Hollywood in need of actor headshots. He lived with a casting director most of those ten years so, his insider’s information is extremely valuable to his acting clients. Now he is happy to be back in living Chicago.
